Simple Trip

If you really want to enjoy your vacation that requires you to drive anywhere, then there are a certain number of things that you need to do. Are they easy? Yes, they are. Does everyone do them? No, they don't. So, what are they?

First of all, planning for a road trip depends on where you want to go in terms of distance, how much money you want to spend, and how many people are going. The other important details include whether you are travelling with a baby or young child, or whether you are taking along a teenager or teenagers.

The first thing to plan for a short or long trip is the maintenance of your vehicle. You want to be sure that what your driving has been tuned, brakes checked, and will not let you down.

The next thing to do depending on how far you wantto go is to plan how far you want to drive in any one day. If you have two drivers, it is much easier to drive a lot further and make sure to trade off frequently the longer and farther you travel.

Make sure that when you travel in peek season that you book vacation lodgings at a spot where you plan to end up for that day. There is nothing more frustrating, tiring and stressful than to arrive at a location and find no accommodation available. Take it from me, I've made this mistake and regretted it.

If you are travelling on board with a small child, you need to bring everything along that would need to provide for their needs. This may include diapers, formula, bottles, etc., or with small children, bring along some toys, favourite teddy bear or blanket, and do not drive somake each day that your child learns to detest being in the car with you.

The real challenge comes if you taking a teenager with you. For most teenagers, they just don't seem to enjoy the family trip anymore. So, what can you do to make at least the travel portion a little better? If you can, see if you can take along a friend so they can have someone to talk to their own age, listen to music together, and just hang out together when you get to your vacation destination. There is nothing worse than a teen that never is enthusiastic about anything you suggest, and just sits there and mopes.

With just a few smart planning decisions, you'll find that your travelling vacation gets a whole lot smoother and much more relaxing.

Child rearing is an experience that makes adults out of grown-up children, called parents. As soon As a child is added in the life of a couple, everything changes. Suddenly, the baby becomes the focus of their lives. Everything revolves around the needs of the baby. The first formative years, from age birth upto five years lay the foundation of the whole life of a child. Mistakes made in child rearing during this time can sometimes be irreversible.

One of the fundamental principles of parenting is to appreciate the needs of a baby. If the needs are misunderstood, the responses of the parents will lead to damage in the bond between the baby and the mother. One of the earliest of the baby are needs-food, sleep, being clean and a sense of safety. Once these needs are met, thebaby is a happy baby. The first three needs are physical but the need to feel safe is where there is a difference of opinion among experts. In cultures where babies are free to sleep with parents and where the mother is available to cling to during any time of the day, the baby feels safe. In cultures where babies are made to sleep in separate rooms, and most of the waking life is spent in creches, there is a shift in the baby's perception of safe relationships.

Spending time in creches has the advantage of bonding with different person/s other than the mother, which may be looked at as the start of making the individual independent. But the frequent change in caregivers gives confusing messages to the subconscious. The more the changes in the number of caregivers involving lesstouch, the more the nervous system feels unstimulated. At the end of the day, the baby's needs for safety are first after feeding and cleaning has been done. Touch plays a major role in providing the baby, a sense of safety. The more the tender touch is available, the safer the baby feels. Sensory satiation is what makes a child grow up to be a stable individual.

When a baby does not get sensory satisfaction, then the baby starts to develop various problems, one of which is hyperactivity. In my own observations, a child who has had the kind of touch that is available to a child reared by a mother full time in India or in Nigeria, he or she is likely to be more emotionally stable. In this case the behaviour can be easily controlled because the nervous system has absorbed thesense of safety in the subconscious. The hyperactivity happens because the nervous system has not reached its level of satisfaction. Children in India are of lesser weight than a baby born in Western Europe. Yet they develop motor skills like crawling and walking and talking earlier than children in the quality hotel countries. My conclusion is that the sense of safety by touch by mother is the key to this difference. In India, in families in which the baby gets touch-experiences the whole day by family members, even if the mother may be working, motor skills are learnt earlier.

As the baby grows up to understand language, the next step is to teach the baby ways of life. A normal baby who feels well loved, will behave well and will not show any problem behaviour. Any reprimand by theparent, by a well bonded child, is taken seriously and obeyed. The more the child feels loved, the less are the chances of misbehaviour.Love is the best foundation for disciplines.

When a child is to be reprimanded, it needs to be done immediately after an event and not ten minutes later. A child has a short memory span. So correction has to be immediate. This way the child can learn to associate the event with the consequences. It is important to let a child know what the expected conduct needs to be rather than giving out for undesirable behaviour.

Spanking or beating is not needed to correct a child. They are counter-productive. If you want a behavior to staple, let the child know of its consequences. For example, if you do not want a toddler to go near a burningcandle, then you have to hold the child's hand and bring it to a safe distance from the flame, so that the child can feel the heat. Once a child knows the fire can burn, they will not go near the flame. Such experiences demand hard work and alertness on the part of a parent. But it is worth it if you want a healthy and well adjusted happy adult as a child.

Experience teaches a child. Words do not mean much, till they are associated with. In order for a child to learn, every mistake and its consequences have to be explained in simple language without going into too much detail. And everything needs to be based on truth. If a child observes parents being untruthful in any area of life, no matter what you tell them about truth, they will learn to beuntruthful.

How to Develop a Wood Dog Dog crate For Your Pet

Some people would like to use wooden crates rather than the traditional made with metal. This is probably because the ones made by wood are a lot sturdier and stringer than the ones made by wire metals. They are also less expensive than with the metal ones. You can also use it as storage for your home items after the dog has outgrown his pen or crate.

If you want to have a wooden create for your pet, you first need to know how to build a wooden dog crate. It is better for you to know this instead of buying the whole crate from pet stores.

Below are the steps on how to build a wooden dog crate:

1. Determine the size of the crate. This will depend on the size of your dog. If your dog is still a puppy, then you will just need the smaller one. Measure the size of thedog and have a few extra inches for the crate. This will leave the pen have a place for the dog's foods and toys. Make sure that your dog will not feel like a prisoner inside. Give him enough space to move around and play with his toys inside the crate.

2. Cut the woods according to the size that you measured. You can use ply wood with this. If your measurements are 24 by 32 inches, then make it into 25 .5 .5 inches by 33. Again, this will give your do have an extra space in the pen. Also, you have some areas to place the nails. The extra inches will become a place for the nails to be hammered.

3. Measure the ends of the wood pieces. Use that measurement to cut the pine boards to add strength and support to the crate. The pieces you will cut needs to be flush with theedges.

4. After that, you can start attaching the boards and the end pieces together. Nail the plywood through the pine and then into the plywood for about one for each four inches gap from the center.

5. Using a measuring device, measure the spaces between the pine boards with the side pieces. The pieces should fit perfectly so if you need a second measurement for this, then we recommend that you take a second attempt.

6. Now, you can attach the base of the crate with the end pieces. If you need extra help for this, you might want to ask some assistance from a friend. You will need someone to hold the crate while you are attaching the bas of it. Nail into the plywood and around the pine boards.

7. Attach the back and front pieces.

8. Flip the pen over foryou to secure the corners and see if they are properly attached. Nail the pen for every three inches.

9. After that, you can attach the hinges for the doors of the crate. Again, make sure that the door will be wide enough for your dog to come in and out of the crate.

Those are the steps on how to build a wooden dog crate. Once it is finished, you can begin training your pet how to use it.
